Course Description: The "Health and Wellness" course provides an integrated approach to personal and community health. It covers essential nutrition and hydration, the benefits of physical activity, and mental and emotional well-being, including stress management techniques and an introduction to mental health disorders. The curriculum also explores personal health practices such as sleep, hygiene, and routine healthcare, alongside preventive measures like vaccinations. Further topics include substance abuse prevention, sexual health education, disease prevention, safety and first aid, and building healthy social relationships. This course equips students with the essential knowledge and skills for lifelong health and wellness.
